Lisa Jacobs and The Amsterdam Soloist play my new Due Scherzi
Young violin player Lisa Jacobs (whose rocketing career makes the epiteth ‘upcoming’ well deserved) plays my new Due Scherzi with her new ensemble of Amsterdam Soloists. This is an arrangment of for string quintet (with two violas) of the last two movements of my Over the Water, that received a first performance in London’s King Place. The piece will be played (with some quasi gitarra episodes) in a programme including quintets by Mozart and Brahms.
